Endowed Scholarships Help Shape the Future
In 2003, Stuart & Branigin established two need-based scholarships for Purdue University students in honor of the firm's namesakes, who served as Purdue trustees. The firm also created an assistance fund for students in need of computer equipment.

Stuart & Branigin attorneys are active contributors to their profession, community, and state. Two partners have served as justices of the Supreme Court of Indiana; one, Charles A. Halleck, as a U.S. congressman; one, Roger D. Branigin, as governor of the State of Indiana; four as presidents of the Indiana State Bar Association; five as Purdue University trustees; and one as chairman of the board of the Lafayette-West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.

Our lawyers also donate time and energy to an array of civic and service organizations, including:

This commitment to the local community is closely tied to our identity as a firm with deep Indiana roots. Our lawyers have chosen not to practice in a top-ten city. We're here intentionally because we like what the area has to offer, appreciate being part of the community, and enjoy knowing our clients.
