Stuart & Branigin
has served as general counsel to Purdue University - a top research
institution with a statewide enrollment of 69,000 - since its founding
as a land grant college. In this capacity, we provide a wide range
of legal services, from environmental and employment law to construction,
finance, intellectual property, litigation, and a host of other
business and legal matters.
In addition to representing the University and its foundations,
we serve several public, private, and parochial schools, advising
them on matters of faculty tenure and staff relations, constitutional
questions, governance, sports law, and other education-related concerns.
We bring to the table exceptional knowledge of the education arena
and broad coverage in various legal disciplines - including taxation,
business counseling, real
estate, design and construction,
banking and creditors' rights,
intellectual property, litigation,
and employment law. As a result,
we have the capabilities and resources to handle any project our
educational clients hand us.
