Christie Wright enjoys building relationships with clients and peers as she tackles litigation and protects financial institutions' and creditors' rights. She also contributes legal writing and research talents to help solve complex problems.
"I am glad I chose to become an attorney because I learn something new every day," says Christie. "There are little nuances to this job that keep it interesting, and I love helping people."
Christie gained first-hand insight to the workings of the federal court system and developed her effectiveness as an attorney during her tenure as law clerk to the late Judge Allen Sharp with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
"Judge Sharp taught me not only about the law, but also how to be a good lawyer," says Christie. "I was able to watch many styles of advocacy to see what works and what doesn't work."
Teaching legal research and writing at Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis further influenced Christie's professional path.
"I believe the ability to research complex legal issues efficiently along with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively are among the most valuable assets a lawyer can possess," says Christie. "Teaching others is a great way to hone your own skills."
