Whether appearing in court or researching and writing at the office, Associate Lia Hanson enjoys the challenge of litigation. She has found it especially satisfying to represent clients from the start of litigation to favorable rulings from medical review panels as well as trial and appellate courts.
"I enjoy practicing law because the topics I work with are so diverse, and I have an opportunity to use a huge range of skills," says Lia.
Lia also frequently advises her education and healthcare clients on statutory and regulatory compliance.
Lia previously worked as an accountant, making her especially detail oriented and thorough while giving her a greater understanding of the inner operations of large companies.
While attending Washington University in St. Louis, Lia served as an associate editor for the Washington University Global Studies Law Review.
