Nicholas C. Nizamoff

Of Counsel, Indianapolis

Nick Nizamoff uses his experience and intimate knowledge of clients' business and professional needs, interests, and risks in his representation of professionals and businesses. He helps design professionals in contract negotiations, business and employment matters, dispute resolution, litigation, and loss prevention counseling. He also handles general business commercial litigation and defends attorneys in professional liability litigation.

Nick says he "enjoys working with clients who are creative, principled, and successful and who contribute generously of their time, talent, and treasure to their communities and civic and charitable organizations." He is a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences for design professionals.

He got an early taste of design and construction while working for a highway construction firm in summers during college. His studies in physics and chemistry at Wabash College exposed him to technical areas that would prove useful later as an attorney handling design and construction matters. Time spent as a management trainee for Ford Motor Company exposed him to the industrial world. While in law school, he had the honor of clerking for Justice Amos Jackson of the Indiana Supreme Court. "That afforded me a front row seat to the making of law at the state level," says Nick.

An avid student of late antiquity and the early medieval period, he is "obsessively curious about when, why, and how humankind splintered into its disparate languages, cultures, and ethnic groups."

Based in Indianapolis, Nick is proud to represent national clients in major litigation and the best of Indiana's design professionals.

“Nick ‘enjoys working with clients who are creative, principled, and successful and who contribute generously of their time, talent, and treasure to their communities and civic and charitable organizations.’”
