While attending Indiana University School of Law, Renee's legal note "Comparing Employer Sanctions Provisions and Employment Eligibility Verification Procedures in the United States and the United Kingdom," was selected for publication in the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review. She also was executive articles editor for the journal.

Prior to attending law school, Renee served her community by working in the development department of a regional orchestra and volunteering as a youth soccer coach.

Since relocating to Tippecanoe County, Renee has been eagerly exploring opportunities to connect and contribute to the community. Renee is a member of Leadership Lafayette, Class 39, and of Tippy Connect. She currently serves on Tippy Connect's Community Involvement Committee.

In her free time, Renee enjoys running, biking, hiking, reading and spending time with her family and pets.
