Andretti has joined the firm. Andretti is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business (BS., 1983) and of the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington (J.D., cum laude, 1991). She was a commercial lender with financial institutions before pursuing her law degree. She then worked for several years with two Indianapolis law firms. Andretti concentrates her practice in the areas of financing transactions, banking law, real estate finance, motorsports law and tax-exempt financing. She represents commercial banks, units of state and local government, for-profit and not-for-profit corporations, limited liability companies, and limited and general partnerships. Andretti comes from the famous motorsports family. Growing up at race tracks with her Uncle Mario, her father, Aldo, and later her brother John and cousin Michael, she has a unique perspective on that industry. Andretti has negotiated a variety of agreements including sponsorship agreements, driver contracts and liability/indemnification provisions. She is a member (and former director) of Championship Auto Racing Auxiliary and has served as their legal advisor. Andretti has also served as a faculty member at commercial loan documentation seminars for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and Lorman Education Services. She is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana Bar Association. She is active in civic, philanthropic and social organizations, including the Community Organizations Legal Assistance Project. She is also a recent graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.
