STUART & BRANIGIN RENOVATION PROJECT
Lafayette and Indianapolis, Indiana – April
19, 2002 -- Stuart & Branigin LLP is pleased to announce a $2 million
renovation project at their offices in Lafayette, Indiana.
The project, which has already begun, will
involve major renovations to the sixth through tenth floors in what is
known as The Life Building on the corner of Third and Main Streets
downtown.
Plans call for the exterior of the building
to remain essentially the same in order to retain the character of the
historic structure. There will be a significant upgrade to the lobby with
the restoration of historic lighting and the preservation of a curved
marble staircase.
The major entryway to the law firm will be
moved from the eighth to the ninth floor, which will house a reception and
conference center. The firm will occupy the upper six floors as well as
the basement level.
“We are bringing our 84-year old building up
to 21st century standards,” according to Tom McCully, one of the firm’s
partners. “We will have the latest in technology throughout which will
allow us to provide the best possible service to our clients,” he said.
“The renovation will not only benefit the firm and our clients, but all of
downtown. It is an investment in the future of all three.”
Stuart & Branigin LLP is a full-service law
firm with offices in both Lafayette and Indianapolis. Established in 1878,
the firm is comprised of nearly 40 attorneys.
