PRATT JOINS STUART & BRANIGIN LAW FIRM

Lafayette, Indiana -- May 1, 2002 -- James E. Pratt has recently joined the law firm of Stuart & Branigin LLP as Firm Administrator. Pratt’s responsibilities will include not only managing the business affairs of the firm, but also overseeing the $2 million renovation of the firm’s offices which is currently underway. “His management expertise will support our attorneys and allow them to concentrate on providing high-quality legal services to assure the success of our clients,” according to Erik (Rick) Spykman, one of the firm’s partners. “We are very excited about Jim as well as our office renovation because both are important steps in positioning the firm for future growth and success.”

Pratt received his CPA license in 1977. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Legal Administrators. Originally from White County, Indiana, Pratt has more than 25 years of experience as a certified public accountant, chief financial officer and legal administrator. He has 13 years experience in a law firm setting, most recently with the Florida law firms of Shutts & Bowen LLP, and Kimbrell and Hamann, P.A.
