DAVID A. LOCKE MADE PARTNER IN STUART & BRANIGIN LAW FIRM

Lafayette and Indianapolis, Indiana – December, 2002 – Stuart & Branigin LLP is pleased to announce that David A. Locke will become a partner in the firm effective January 1, 2003. 

Mr. Locke graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City.  After competing as a racing driver in the Sports Car Club of America’s Canadian-American Challenge Cup series, he enrolled at Butler University in Indianapolis, earning his B.A. degree in 1992 with high honors.  Mr. Locke obtained his law degree from Indiana University School of Law–Bloomington, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Law Journal in 1994-1995.  Following his admission to the bar in 1995, Mr. Locke served as a law clerk to the Honorable Allen Sharp, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.  He joined Stuart & Branigin as an associate attorney in 1997.

Mr. Locke’s practice includes civil litigation and appellate work.  He is a member of the Tippecanoe County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Supreme Court Historical Society, the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, the Defense Research Institute, and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
