Spykman Chairs IBA Committee

Lafayette, Indiana -- May, 2003 -- Erik Spykman, partner in Lafayette’s Stuart &  Branigin law firm, has been appointed chair of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Internet and Electronic Commerce Committee.

The special committee of 30 members recommends actions to the IBA regarding Internet use and electronic commerce. “We focus on matters that relate to both the legal profession’s use of this technology and our service to the public,” Spykman said.

A 1977 Calvin College graduate who earned his law degree in 1980 from the University of Notre Dame, Spykman’s law practice includes estate planning and administration as well as business formation and counseling, business transactions and buying and selling of businesses.
