Duffey Presents Program for the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel
Lafayette, Indiana – July, 2003 – John Duffey,
partner in Lafayette’s Stuart & Branigin law firm and Central Region Vice President of the
National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, was recently responsible for one-day of a
three-day program held at Monterrey, California. Founded in the 1950’s, the National
Association of Railroad Trial Counsel serves as a support, resource, and continuing
education center for rail carriers and their counsel. Duffey secured five speakers,
each from a different state, to address various legal issues facing railroads today,
as well as Heather Emenhiser, also of Stuart & Branigin, to speak on recent
developments in healthcare privacy. Emenhiser joined the firm in 2000 and
while practicing in various areas of law, devotes an extensive amount of time to
railroad litigation. Duffey himself has presented countless programs at meetings
throughout his almost 20 years as a member of the NARTC, and 20-year career defending
railroads.
Stuart & Branigin LLP, a full-service firm with offices in
Lafayette and Indianapolis, has been providing legal services since 1878.
