Loftus Named Stuart & Branigin Partner

Lafayette, Indiana – January, 2004 – Barry L. Loftus has been named a partner in the law firm of Stuart & Branigin LLP. Loftus, who has been associated with the firm since 1998, specializes in litigation, employment law, education law, and estate planning and administration. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in 1985 then worked for nearly a decade as a journalist for newspapers in Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia and Indiana. He worked for the Journal and Courier from 1993 to 1995. In 1998, he graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. 

Loftus is a member of the Tippecanoe County, Indiana State and American bar associations; Defense Research Institute; Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana; National Association of College and University Attorneys and National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. He is presently serving as President of the Board of Directors of Legal Aid Corp. of Tippecanoe County.
